Ingredients:
* 1 quart tap water
* 1 piece Ginger (approximately 2 oz.)
* 3 stalks of Lemongrass
* 8 oz. Simple Syrup
* 2 cups Sparking Water
* 2 cups White Rum
Lemongrass Ginger Fusion Base:
1. Chop ginger and lemongrass
2. Add chopped ginger and lemongrass to 1 quart of tap water.
3. Place on mixture on heat medium/ high heat until it reaches a boil.
4. Let simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
5. Remove from stove.
6. Let cool.
7. Refrigerate for a minimum of 12 hours.
8. Strain out ginger and lemongrass
Cocktail:
1. Place ice in a tumbler.
2. Add 3-4 oz. of Lemongrass Ginger Fusion Base
3. Add 1 oz. Simple Syrup
4. Add 2 oz. Sparking Water
5. Add 2 oz. White Rum
Shake well, stain off ice. Garnish with a stalk of lemongrass.
